FAQs
-
Absolutely! I take remote appointments via Zoom, or Teams/other platforms if preferred.
-
I do counselling for pre-teens and teens, as well as adults. However, I’m not currently taking on children under 10 years old. If you’re unsure about whether your child would be a good fit for me then please get in contact with me and we can discuss options.
-
Unfortunately, I am unable to accept Mental Health Care Plans, and my sessions are not yet covered under medicare. However, my fee is very similar to the gap payment that medicare-covered therapists usually charge.
Therapy is an investment in yourself, and worth the time, energy, and money that you put into it.

For clients: I appreciate that you trust me enough to want to recommend me to someone else! Please keep in mind, however, that it would be considered a ‘conflict of interest’ for me to take on a client that is your partner or immediate family member (unless you are doing couples/family therapy with me). If you would like to refer a friend, coworker, or acquaintance to me, I would love to offer you 10% off your next session if they attend an initial appointment with me, as a thank you!
For health/wellbeing/other professionals: Absolutely! Thank you for your support! Keeping in mind that my services are not bulk-billed, please fill out the form below to refer:
My Philosophy
I believe that stepping into vulnerability, though it can be scary to do, is the key to creating more meaningful connections with others, finding serenity, and aligning ourselves with what we want, while the fear of vulnerability is what is keeping us stuck in lives that fail to truly fulfill us.
With patience, compassion, open-mindedness, courage, and a sense of humour, I will walk with you down the path of vulnerability, and help you along the way to find what you’ve been searching for.
Your stories are valuable. You are capable of creating change. You still have time.
And you don’t have to take these next steps alone.
So… why is it so ‘Awefull’?
Well, it’s not to be mistaken as ‘awful’, although, at times, healing and moving forward, particularly in a therapy setting can feel daunting and ‘awful’ in the beginning!
Rather, what we are talking about is ‘awe’. That feeling of wonder, amazement, feeling a part of something bigger than yourself- a moment that takes your breath away.
Big or small, it’s in these moments of awe that you may find yourself truly appreciating what it means to be human, what it means to be on this planet, right now. This can bring up feelings of hope, gratitude, connection, healing and joy.
One of the cornerstones of my approach to therapy is helping you get past the point of just surviving, or just managing daily life. My goal is to help you take this further, to thrive, to find more moments of joy, gratitude, and awe, in your life.
Ultimately, I want to help you find your way toward an ‘awe-full’ life.
